Reminders - Fundraising Evening
It is not too late to support the Dewsbury Rangers 10th Anniversary Dinner at Dewsbury Rams Stadium on the 23rd of April. Prices are £30 per head and include a four-course meal and entertainment. If anyone is interested please call Graham Wilkinson on 0771 291 9204.
Annual Presentation Night
Our annual Presentation Night will be held at the Frontier Club on Monday the 16th of May, doors open at 7.30pm. Please note that the club has been asked that for health and safety reasons, the dance floor must be kept clear whilst the presentations are being made.
Dewsbury Rangers Annual Gala
Our annual gala will take place on Sunday the 3rd of July. The fund raising committee is carrying out the co-ordination of this important club event. Duties such as programme selling, car parking and stalls have been allocated to each age group. It is important that all age groups support and contribute to the smooth running of this event and we ask you to spare some of your time on the day to assist your age group with their duties. You will not be asked to help whilst your child is playing. More information to follow nearer the day. If you would like to advertise or support the gala programme, the following rates apply; sponsoring a match ball £10, sponsoring a pitch £10, a third of a page advertisement £15, a half page advertisement £30 and a full-page advertisement is £45. Registration Fees & Subscriptions Season 2005/06
You may remember we advised in the January newsletter that the annual registration fee will rise to £20 per player for next season, it has also been decided that the weekly subs will rise to £2.50 per week, from the start of season 2005/06. For your information, copies of the updated constitution will also be attached to this coming season’s registration forms.

As you may have seen advertised in the Dewsbury Reporter and the Press on the 11th of March 2005. The annual general meeting has been arranged for the 10th of July at Hanging Heaton Cricket Club to commence at 8pm. Anyone wishing to apply or re-apply for positions within the club or to add items to the agenda, must ensure that they are received, in writing, by the current club secretary at least 7 days in advance.
Legal Action
Unfortunately, we have to advise you that a family has commenced legal proceedings against the club under the Data Protection Act for administrative issues. We cannot, at this stage give details, suffice to say it is costing the club resource in both time and money. We have taken legal advice and are vigorously defending this action. We will keep you updated.
