01/11/07 Welcome by Chairman.
Carson Heatley has now left the club. Chair thanked him for his contribution.
Changing Room Bywell – Suggested that the second room to be done out for changing and gear moved into lock up.

Invoice received form Metcalfes for kit
Monies transferred from Gala fund to account.
Chris Bugg asked if a spare kit could be donated to school – accepted

Request for bins at Wakefield Rd pitches made – one put in place
The league is becoming increasingly strict on poor behaviour. The WRCFA operate a points system for discipline\behaviour.

Open age section requested to supply Graham with a list of names and addresses of members

05/11/07 Fund Raising
Winter Disco at Hanging Heaton Working Mens Club on
10/11/07 has been cancelled due to lack ticket sales.
Christmas Raffle Tickets need to be returned.
Events being looked at – Casino Night and trip to dog racing.
Commitment to fundraising questioned. Money had been lost on cancelling the disco and future events required more “up front” costs which would potentially be lost if insufficient tickets were sold.
A community scheme was discussed where a newsletter is sold by agents and a proportion of the takings distributed to the club. – decided not to proceed.
06/11/07 Child Welfare
Photographs should not be published with player’s names.
Reports from an U9 (not DRJFC) match when name calling caused distress to a child. Foul language \ name calling to be nipped in the bud
As previously reported in secretary’s notes (04/11/07 above) league are increasingly strict on poor behaviour
Two bad incidents had occurred where linesmen had been assaulted not at DRJFC games
Standards set Charter Standard must be followed by all including all coaches to be at level 1
07/11/07 Disciplinary
Member of club accused of bringing the game into disrepute. Initial fine paid and refunded to club. Member offered resignation and will pay any future fine.
One player sent off fine paid, one week suspension.
Debate followed on which fines to recover from member and which not. Generally felt that descent, foul and abusive language, violent conduct will be recovered.

Home venue for team managed by Paul Ginnelly now moved to St John Fishers due to poor facilities, vandalism and intimidation form local; Asians.
The other team may move to sands lane or Bywell if changing rooms can be sorted out.
