Dewsbury Rangers Management Committee 04/02/07

 Welcome by Chair.

There was to be no change to the structure or numbers of the development committee until after the AGM.

Some supply problem with new kits, it was hoped to have some to show soon.

                        There had been a meeting with the council about the changing rooms at

                        Bywell, the council had gone away to rethink their strategy.

Coaches were reminded about the presentation evening and the need to get names as soon as possible so trophies could be engraved.

 Treasurers Report

Mrs Denvers brought the committee up to speed with the clubs finances.

 Secretary’s report

Newsletter given out and the coaches asked to distribute to their squads ASAP

                        FA Charter Standard had been successfully renewed to 2010.

                        Various information given out on coaching courses.

                        Free balls of various sizes given out.

                        C.R.B. forms returned.

Everyone reminded that a representative of the club has to attend at least one Charter Standard run course to keep our registration.

                        The club had received various invites to other teams galas.

 Fund Raising

                        Penalty shoot out to be held on 27/04/07

                        As much help as possible would be needed with the Gala.

Race night on 24/03 coaches to try and sell as many horses and jockeys as poss, also to try and get sponsors for the races.. Mrs Thomas to contact Coaches to discuss ways of betting on the evening of race night.

 Gala.

Invites given to the coaches, so they could invite teams to our Gala, please let Trevor know whom you have invited.

 Girl’s section. 

The girls had received a grant from the West Riding F.A. also they were part of the three lion’s scheme.

There was a request for first aid kits.

The club had been offered free tickets for the ladies game between Arsenal and Leeds.

Most of the girls teams doing reasonably well.

The under 16’s coach to stop training the girls at the end of the season.

 Mini Soccer

No report from D.Rickell, but Jez Rodgers stated that certain teams would look to play on a Saturday next season.

A request was made for more socks.

 11 A Side

The question was asked on how to report a referee, and it was explained that it should be done through the club secretary.

It was also asked when the golfing date was likely to be.

 Development.

It was explained what was happening with possible grants and also what was going on at the Dewsbury area committee.

There was to be a meeting to discuss what needed to be done about the lease on Wakefield road playing fields, the maintenance of the pitches, if we were successful, would be down to the club. This lead to a discussion on what pitches would be available.

Outline plans for a clubhouse were being drawn up, and the coaches were asked to find out if any of the parents at their age groups were tradesmen, all trades were needed.

                     Registration - A question was raised on how much should be charged for a part season
