Executive committee meeting
Sunday 1st October 2006

Welcome by Chairman
Mr. Thomas welcomed everyone to the inaugural executive meeting, and stated that the ideal behind the committee was to streamline procedures.
A discussion took place on upgrading the facilities at Bywell. The improvements were voted on by the committee members, and this was carried unanimously.
Representative of the council to attend the next meeting.
Minutes of the September Meeting.
As these were deemed to be the minutes of a general meeting, it was felt appropriate to defer them for approval at the next coaches meeting.
Treasurer.
No report given.
Secretary’s report.
A letter had been received from the West Riding, given advice on what each age group could do.
Newsletter waiting to go out, just needing a date for the autumn dance.
West Riding identity cards would be issued as soon as possible; the delay was caused by a backlog at county.
A brief outline was given on the events at the league meeting.
Information given on tournament at Blackpool in 2007.
The coaches were reminded on the proper protocol on postponing games.
Any coach/manager, who had not let Mr. Burton have their player’s registration forms, should do so as soon as possible, as it was a requirement that appropriate records were kept.
There were continuing changes with the joint St John Fisher’s development, and the committee would be kept up to speed with these.
The licence on the web page was renewed.
The problem of racial harassment appears to have been resolved at one of the age groups.
Fund raising.
The only point had already been covered.
Girl’s section.
Under 9’s training at Westmore, also had received a substantial grant.
Under 13’s Started of looking optimistic but faded away.
Under 14’s No change
Under 16’s Struggling for players.
Mini Soccer
Starting indoor training 18:00 to 19:00 and then 19:00 to 20:00 Friday 13/10/06.
Dave pointed out problems with pitch markings and was given permission to do what was necessary to get the lines burned into the grass, so that marking the pitches became easier.
Eleven a side.
There was a request for a key to the car park at Wakefield Road playing Fields.
Different match balls for under 12’s, to be paid for out of subs.
Metcalfe new what was needed when ordering rain tops.
Development Committee
There was a follow up discussion to development of Bywell.
Disciplinary Committee
The one outstanding problem had been covered on the secretary’s report.

Goalkeeper Training
To take place between Christmas and Easter probably sharing the floodlights that are being set up for outdoor training at Bywell.
Jarvis to be approached about the possibility of a lock up at Earlsheaton High School.
Graham Wilkinson to book the Batley Variety club for the presentation night on 21/05/07.
