Today Dewsbury Rangers U10’s Girls played at home against Rothwell Juniors. Final score was Dewsbury 0-9 Rothwell. Hence the score both teams tried extremely hard. Only 7 players each team were used with no substitution and the girls really tried their best.
Dewsbury’s girl of the game was awarded again to Hollie Priestley. Midfield players Philippa & Elizabeth had a great game today, as did Defenders Leonie and Hannah. Attacking need a little improvement hence Jodel & Jodie trying extremely hard. Overall there has been improvement in these young children every week, confidence, enthusiasm and endurance is strengthening week by week.
Dewsbury Rangers Under 10’s Girls played a home game on Sunday 9th Dec against Burley Trojans. Hence Burley Trojans’s Under 10’s Girls taking the lead with a full time score of 13-0, Rangers played extremely well.
Hannah Neville and Leonie Kerr worked extemely well on defending. Whilst Philippa Moore, Elizabeth Jennings & Jodel Kerr had an overall good game in Mid-field.
Jodie Crossland was very unlucky when she tried to score for Rangers, and our Goalkeeper Hollie Priestley saved many goals.
The team overall played really well and tried very hard!
Dewsbury Rangers Under 10’s Girls played their first league game on Sunday 4th Nov against Normaton. Hence Normanton’s Under 10’s Girls taking the lead with a full time score of 11 – 1, Rangers played extremely well.
Philippa Moore saved several goals for us. Our goal was scored by Jodie Crossland in the second half with a fantastic pass from Jodel Kerr.
Hannah Neville and Hollie Priestley worked really well on defending. Whilst Elizabeth Jennings & Leonie Kerr had an overall good game in Mid-field.
The team is looking forward to our up-coming games, and we are working really hard to improve our game as well as all the enjoyment!
