Thomas Ramsden
We’ve been told that Thomas “Rambo” won’t be re-signing for us next season as he has decided to revert to his correct age group and sign for Scholes U14’s. Can we take this opportunity to wish Rambo and his family all the best for the future and hope his football career at Scholes continues successfully. We know you will send him your best wishes as well. Can we also thank Stuart for refereeing all our homes games this past season
St John Fishers 3G Open Night – 6th June
Next Friday we will be using the 3G pitch at SJF for the first time. The club are holding an open evening to allow players and parents a chance to have a look at the £750,000 facility that we will be using from next September. Training will be 7-8pm please wear trainers or boots but no metal studs or blades are allowed.
New Players
As always we are looking for some new players to add to the squad, if you have any friends who fancy a change of team please ask them to join us at training with a view to signing on next season. With the departure of Rambo we may only have 14 players in the squad.
Season 2008-09 Club & League Registration Forms
Please find attached, please complete and return to Graham ASAP, the league registration forms need 2 photos – no need for a copy of your birth certificate as you were registered with us last season.
Playing kit
As we already have a new kit for next season can we ask you to return, in a clean condition, your current kit after the DRJFC Gala in a carrier with your name on please. The new kit will then be issued ready for the new season to those players who have registered.

Playing kit
As we already have a new kit for next season can we ask you to return, in a clean condition, your current kit after the last match of the season in a carrier with your name on please. The new kit will then be issued ready for the galas
Thank you
Can we thank you all for your support during this past season, helping with raffles, linesman duties, refereeing, sorting the nets etc, etc. We can’t do this without you and thank you for your continued support.
Season 2007/08
Please find next seasons fixtures now online, they may change during the season so the information given out at Friday training will always be the most up to date that we have. Please also note the fixtures for Christmas week and Easter. If during the season you become aware of school trips that may concern a number of our players please let us know as soon as possible. We have to give 28 days written notice, along with confirmation from the school to apply for fixture postponements. As we only have a small squad of players we would be grateful if you could let us know ASAP if you are not available for matches as the season progresses.
Kit
Please ensure that you wear the full DRJFC supplied kit for match days and also bring along your rain top. You also may have started to notice that all DRJFC teams are now wearing the same kit. At this age you have to be responsible for your kit, making sure it’s clean and that you remember it every week. You are now too old to blame parents or anyone else if you forget it; this also applies to drinks, boots & shin pads for training and matches.
Season Subscriptions
Method 1 – Monthly Payments
£12.50, to be paid in advance at the first training session of each month, starting on the 7th of September 2007. These payments would be made for 8 consecutive months with May, June, July and August being free of charge. Over the year paying by this method will save each player £5 and potentially give up to eight free training sessions.
Method 2 – Annual Payment
£90 to be paid in advance at the 7th of September 2007 training session. This one off payment would still give you May, June, July and August free of charge and save £15 over the year.
With either method if a player is seriously injured the club committee would look on an individual basis into the circumstances, and decide if a refund should be made.
To help us, if paying by cheque please make the cheque payable to Dewsbury Rangers JFC and write your name and age group on the reverse
As always if you have any questions or worries please do not hesitate to speak to us after training
Best wishes for a successful season
