Rangers    1    v     0   Huddersfield Amateurs
 
Rangers knew they had a tough game today as Huddersfield are top of the division and a very strong side.
It was left to Mom Zak Parkinson to show the way with a outstanding performance at right back his commitment and enthusiasm spurred on his teamates and the first half finnished goalless thanks to Parkinson and James O`Donnell in the Rangers net.
The second half was going much the same with both defences on top and Rangers replacement keeper Nick Kittlelty in good form,just as it looked like the game would finnish in a deserved draw, Rangers forward Aidan Gooch pounced on a through ball beat the offside trap and with eight mins to go scored the winner.
Rangers held out and gained thre valuable points for their tremendous effort.

 

          Dewsbury Rangers      5         v        2        Netherton A

 
Dewsbury set the pace early on as Robert Mallendar scored his first of three. Later in the first half Rangers scored again through a Jonathan Ginnelly penalty.
In the second half Rangers went out looking to increase their 2-0 lead and did with Mallendar striking again. Mallendar sealed his hat-trick with a good finish and a Ginnelly corner set up Scott Lightwoler to add a fifth. Netherton pushed late on in the game and scored two goals but Rangers held on for the win. MOM Ben Ambler made some good runs and never gave up.
